Today the whole family enjoyed a bucket of seafood at Seau de Crabe for the first time. It was a Father's Day treat that my hubby loved. The restaurant looked clean and had a good energy. The person at the front desk was knowledgeable and helped me figure it all out. The only negative part was the fact that we had to go back and forth to the car a few times (we ordered take out) because the staff was unsure what was in our bags. Now the food... Exquisite... We got the Seau de la famille with the signature seasoning. Everything was spiced to perfection, even the fries. Everyone around the table agreed that Seau de Crabe is our new favorite seafood place.

The food was Amazing very flavourful not salty at all, crispy and hot. Sarah was exceptionally friendly attentive & courteous. Will define visit again The smell of seafood attracts flies we decided to eat inside but unfortunately the patio door was kept open., I suggest you keep the patio door closed.
My wife and I were there yesterday, the menu is incredible and flavourful, the staff were friendly and went out of their way to give us the best experience possible. If you’re a seafood lover you need to check this place out!!! This was long overdue for Orleans, 10/10. we’ll be going back for sure!
I had such an amazing experience at Seau du Crabe with my family! From the moment we walked in, everything felt welcoming and comfortable. The atmosphere was lively but still cozy. Now the food absolutely incredible. The seafood was unbelievably fresh you could really taste the quality in every bite. The flavours were perfectly balanced, and everything was cooked just right. You can tell they put care into every dish. And I have to say, the service is what made the night truly unforgettable. Rana was phenomenal, one of the best servers I’ve ever had. She was warm, attentive, and made sure we were happy the entire time with a genuine smile on her face the whole time, without being overbearing. You could tell she truly cared, and that made the whole experience feel even more special. Seau du Crabe is definitely one of those places you’ll want to come back to. Great food, great vibe, and top-tier service. Highly recommend!
We arrived approx 630 on a Saturday evening, it was busy, waited 20 min maybe. We had hoped for patio, lots of umbrellas providing shade. Dogs allowed patio only. However we were offered table inside which was fine too, loud though lol lots of customers excited for their food. 95% Everything at tables is disposable, easy clean up but wonder if their single use plastic bags, bibs, gloves are eco friendly? The utensils are wooden, and table covers are paper. This didn't bother me too just a lot of plastic going in garbage if not. Our server was pleasant, helpful and did her best. Food takes a while to cook on busy nights so be ready to socialize and enjoy your time. The food was amazing!! Portions huge, tasty, and yes messy so bibs and gloves were very much appreciated. My very lucky yet picky 12yr ate it right up and his kids meal portion was big. Everything is sharable, his fries so tasty but I was shocked he ate them they were kinda spicey for kids meal. I had the shrimp and mussels bucket with mild signature sauce corn and potato my husband tried the crayfish shrimp bucket with rice and potato's The craw fish not really my thing bit they enjoyed. We were celebrating wedding anniversary so enjoyed the dinner out. Bravo to and thank you to the owners for bringing such a vibrant delicious dining experience to Orleans. I have a lot of food allergies but I can usually enjoy fish or seafood that is not fried/ battered so a nice alternative to what's already available in Orleans.
I was instructed to taste the one in Orleans rather than Montreal.....and that person got it correct so far (until I try Mtl). Great customer service, we had one of the buckets. The rice and sauce were a perfect mixture I thought. As for the seafood, it was solid. Overall, satisfied and will come back again.
Be prepared to get dirty at Sceau de crabe! Very good service. Bring your own wine (we left our bottle opener for the next guests! They didn’t have any!). The seafood is excellent, sizing of side orders could be a little more generous (4 small potatoes and 3 times 1/3 corn for a $80 meal), but we ordered a side of rice and that was perfect for two. It was a perfect weekday date night. We enjoyed it. $90 for two (plus tip).
